Mossleigh: A hamlet in southern Alberta, Mossleigh is within Vulcan County. It is located on Highway 24, approximately 63 kilometres southeast of Calgary. Places of note are, P&H, Mossleigh Bar & Gril and Aspen Crossing.
Milo: The Village of Milo is just off the shore of the northernmost tip of Lake McGregor, which is about a 5 minute drive away and can also be reached by walking path. Despite its small population of 121 people as of June 2014, Milo has all of the services one should expect in a place they would call home.
The Village of Milo is located on Secondary Highway 542, approximately 91 kilometres southeast of Calgary.
Champion: Is the largest village in Vulcan County with a population of roughly 400 people. This community is a great place to sit back and enjoy your retirement years or raise your family. It is the perfect staging point for your outdoor travels, as the Little Bow Provincial Park and the Twin Valley Dam are only a 15 minute drive away.
The Village of Champion is located east of Highway 23, approximately 65 kilometres northwest of Lethbridge.
Lomond: The Village of Lomond takes pride in the hospitality it offers anyone visiting or taking up residence in their vibrant community of roughly 180 people. It is a short drive from Lake McGregor, Badger Lake, Travers Reservoir and Little Bow Reservoir. Lomond is also a hop, skip and jump from Lethbridge and Brooks.
The Village of Lomond is located on Secondary highway 845, approximately 72 kilometres northeast of Lethbridge.
Carmangay: Carmangay sits along a ridge in the southernmost portion of Vulcan County, just off Highway 23. Carmangay has a population of 273 people who are committed to maintaining its rich history and spacious community. It is located along the main CPR line and still has its roots in farming.
The Village of Carmangay is located on Secondary Highway 522 approximately 50 kilometres northwest of Lethbridge.
Arrowwood: The Village of Arrowwood has a population of just under 200 and we have been working very hard to beautify our village and make it a place where visitors feel welcome.
The Village has received honors since 2003 in the national community beautification program called Communities in Bloom. Our recognition has been for community involvement in the project and in 2005, for the wetland enhancement project.
Arrowwood is home to a number of tourist attractions and we offer places to shop, eat and camp.
The Village of Arrowwood, surrounded by choice farmland, lies between the east and west Arrowwood Creeks with the Bow River 3 miles north and the Buffalo Hills to the south.This area, with an abundance of good water and many thousands of acres of good grass, was utilized by many of the early ranchers.
